- or -
$5 per item : for each Item to remove or add (you must give us the minute mark from your tape), or for Special Effects (such as Fade-in, Fade-out to a new scene), or to add more than 1 Chapter title.
Typical Problems to edit out:
Unwanted footage (left cam-corder running accidentally)
Static or rolling screen (damaged tape or camcorder problems)
Blue screen (turning camcorder on of off between scenes)
The type of Editing we do for $30 for each hour of video tape, is called "Linear Editing", meaning we work from the BEGINNING of the tape removing the unwanted material to the very END of the tape. If you need items moved from one place to another in your video, or items from a 2nd or 3rd Video tape added to the 1st tape, that is "Non-linear Editing" and is billed $5 per EACH item. Example: if you want the Bride and Groom cutting the cake moved to the very end of the DVD before fading-out out, it would be $5 to remove it, and $5 to paste it at the end of the DVD.
Linear Video Editing:
is the process of
selecting, arranging and modifying the images and sound recorded on videotape
whether captured by a video camera, generated from a computer graphics program
or recorded in a studio. Until the advent of computer-based non-linear editing
in the early 1990s "linear video editing" was simply called "video editing."
